| Building a Shared Future in Asia |
Temasek Foundation was set up on 16 May 2007. In its first year, the foundation committed S$16 million to support 14 programmes to build capabilities and capacities of communities in Asia, including exchange programmes for leaders and students, training of education leaders and master trainers, curriculum and pedagogy development and train-the-trainer programmes in nursing, health care and education.
A total of S$1.94 million was disbursed to the approved programmes, while the remaining amount will be disbursed according to the milestones of the programmes.
