About Temasek Foundation
Temasek Foundation is a non-profit philanthropic organisation established by Temasek Holdings, Singapore, to contribute to sustainable growth and a bright future of hope and opportunities for the people in Asia, including Singapore, in the following areas:
Led by a board comprising leaders from the business and community sectors from Singapore and other Asian countries, the foundation works with partners from the various sectors to support programmes that bring about improvements in the lives of people and development of the region's human and social capital.
The foundation will focus on programmes that have a multiplier effect and that build capacity, capability and networks of cooperation in a systemic and sustainable manner, including training for teachers and leaders in education, curriculum development, vocational and skills-based training and related train-the-trainers programmes, training in best practices in governance and regulations, research and knowledge sharing, and student and academic exchange programmes.
