Model ASEAN Fellowship Programme

More than 60 student delegates from the top universities of ASEAN countries met in Singapore from 9 - 18 December 2007 for the inaugural Model ASEAN Conference 2007, the first of its kind in ASEAN. The biennial conference is part of the new Temasek Foundation - National University of Singapore (NUS) Model ASEAN Fellowship Programme. The conference marked the start of a two-year programme of discussions and research among the student delegates on key policy issues, which will culminate in recommendations to be presented to the ASEAN Secretariat by 2009.

The programme, run by the NUS' University Scholars Programme, is supported by Temasek Foundation at more than $220,000.
