Educational Leadership Programme for Vietnam
A capability building programme to develop educational leaders in curriculum and pedagogy to bolster Vietnam’s educational management was officially launched in Hanoi on 11 March 2008.
The foundation will provide a grant of S$2.1 million to support this programme in providing an opportunity for 480 Vietnamese master teacher trainers and provincial trainers from 64 provinces to attend customised executive training programmes. This programme will be implemented by the National Institute of Education in Singapore and the National Institute of Education Management in Hanoi. The programme also forms the first phase of training under the Vietnam-Singapore Centre for Educational Excellence, which aims to improve the leadership capacity of school principals, master trainers and educational administrators in Vietnam.
