Development of MBA education in China's western - interior region

In a bid to bolster MBA education in China's western - interior region, the China National MBA Education Supervisory Committee will lead an initiative to uplift MBA education through a partnership between China's eastern and western universities. Five of China's top public universities from the eastern-coastal region will partner with five western-interior universities to train 135 participants in three key components: MBA Dean Leadership Development Programme, Business Faculty Development Programme and Administrative Leadership and Management Programme.

In addition, 4 more universities from Yunnan and Sichuan have been selected to participate in selected course modules. The 3-year programme was launched at Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management in Beijing on 25 June 2008.
