Improving health standards in Guangdong

The foundation teamed up with the University of Hong Kong’s School of Nursing to provide training to 188 participants from Guangdong Province on nursing leadership, management and pedagogy skills of nurse managers and educators. The training, which commenced in March 2010, includes 6 customised training programmes with contents such as nurse teaching, health services management, care of patients who smoke tobacco and a series of study visits to hospitals in Singapore and Hong Kong.
