Many fast-moving consumer goods are currently made from plastics that are washed into the ocean and create pollutants in the environment. pFIBRE aims to manufacture a marine biodegradable resin that will be a viable alternative to plastic materials used in fast-moving consumer goods. The resin is produced by a proprietary blend of ingredients and will be compatible to existing commercial process and equipment. The first application of this resin is in detergent pods.
