Individual Transitional Aftercare Programme (iTAP)

Partner(s)

iC@RE, Yellow Ribbon Fund

This pilot programme provided a structured residential aftercare services in a secular setting for newly released female ex-offenders and those recovering from addictions (substance and/or behaviour).

Based on a 'housing first' philosophy, the transitional accommodation facility provided a safe and affordable shelter for a minimum period of six months from the date of admission. The temporary accommodation was complemented with individualised support in areas such as emotional, psychological, employment, family reconciliation, financial aid, and addiction management.

With help and support during their journey of recovery and transition to normalcy after their release, this programme empowered ex-offenders towards obtaining permanent housing, living a productive life free of addictions and successfully reintegrating into the wider community.
