Inquiry-based learning occurs when students engage in self-generated analysis through questioning, idea generation, critical and creative thinking concerning specific topics.

Participation from the community is thought to enhance and complement teaching and learning. In the area of science inquiry-based learning, understanding can be deepened not only during curriculum time, but also through after-school programmes.

This project studies, designs and implements learning approaches to engage secondary school students, particularly academically challenged learners, by leveraging partnerships between schools, industry partners and the community. The aim is to improve the learning of science, help level up academically challenged learners and sustain inquiry-based learning practices among these learners.
